Events and Volunteer Coordinator

The Events and Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for planning and coordinating the public and community programme. This includes, but is not limited to: devise a range of talks, workshops, and community projects; develop a volunteer strategy, shaping the way our organisation works with volunteers; coordinating volunteers, making sure their involvement has a transformational impact for individuals and for the organisation; working with existing and new partners to expand our volunteer and events programme, growing the influence of GTL, making sure that we reach the people and places that we can benefit most.

With oversight over the GTL public programme, the Events and Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for developing a strategy that will help sustain the organisation through fundraising, ticket sales and volunteer support. By doing this we can ensure the ongoing sustainability and growth of GTL.

As a community-driven organisation and inclusive library service, we believe in the equality of access to professional opportunities. We therefore actively encourage members of minority or protected characteristic groups to apply to the position
