As part of our Community Learning Programme, supported by The National Lottery Community Fund and the Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund, we are able to work with a community group to help with a local build project that will improve your area.
This could be supporting your community growing project to build new planters, working with a youth club to do some painting and decorating, or building benches for a local community centre – we’re excited to hear your ideas! The build provides an opportunity for people from your community to learn some practical skills and meet new people.
Glasgow Tool Library is able to provide project management time, tools, volunteer power and £700 towards materials. We can work together to find a suitable date, but we will be aiming towards a weekend in September.
If you have a project that you would like us to work with you on, please fill out the form to give us a bit more detail. Our Volunteers will then vote on the project they want to support.
Let us know your ideas – Community Build Ideas Form
Don’t worry if your project isn’t successful on this occasion – we will be doing another Community Build in March 2024.
