Help our Movement
Build Access, Not Excess

Glasgow Tool Library is a grassroots, volunteer-run library service that is committed to moving from a profit-driven waste economy to a community-focused circular economy. Your support plays a critical role in helping us add more equipment to our community library, run our volunteer and educational programmes, pay our staff and keep the lights on.

People in positions of power are taking too long to take action. Donate today to help us move towards a world of access not excess.

Donate tools and equipment

Whether you’re doing a clear-out, downsizing your garage or workshop or wanting to pass on surplus tools after a construction project, we’re happy to bring them into our inventory to be shared with the people of Glasgow.

Due our limited space, we're unable to accept all donations. We're up to our ears in spanners, hammers and screwdrivers! Please read the information below before getting in touch - tools@glasgowtoollibrary.com

We only accept tools in good condition and aren't broken.

We may choose to sell some equipment. This helps raise funds for more in demand tools.

Please contact us before you come to donate equipment.
